Will Trump run?

Former President Donald Trump polled people during a conservative conference on whether he should place another presidential bid in 2024.

“The next Republican president. I wonder who will that be?” he asked during the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” conference in Nashville. “Would anybody like me to run for president?”

Trump’s question was followed by applause by the audience who spent 90 minutes listening to the former President’s criticisms about the House Jan. 6 select committee and other important issues from crime to critical race theory.

Trump has dismissed Jan. 6 criticisms saying “it was a simple protest” that “got out of hand.”

“Most people should not be treated the way they’re being treated,” he said. “If I become president someday if I decide to do it, I will be looking at them very, very seriously for pardons.”

The “Road to Majority” conference is an annual gathering meant to help attendees with encouraging value-aligned voting.

“We are going to win a historic majority in the House of Representatives,” he said. “We are going to reclaim the United States Senate. We are going to take back governors’ mansions and state legislatures and offices up and down the ballot, left and right. And in 2024, we are going to take back our magnificent White House.”
